The Part-Time Transportation Specialist operates single, tandem, and multi-axle trucks to transport products, equipment, and supplies. The role also provides customer service and maintains compliance with safety and DOT regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• CDL with appropriate endorsements (HazMat/Tanker), or ability to obtain them within 6 months of employment.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to work extended hours as work conditions require.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to operate heavy machinery and agricultural equipment preferred.
• Previous agronomy or energy transportation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate trucks, trailers, forklifts, and related equipment.
• Deliver agronomy and energy products to customer and company locations.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks.
• Load and unload products safely and efficiently.
• Ensure deliveries and pickups are completed on schedule.
• Complete delivery documentation, logbooks, and related paperwork accurately.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance of vehicles and equipment.
• Follow DOT, OSHA, Environmental Health & Safety, and company policies.
