About The Position

Frontier Supply Chain Solutions Inc. is seeking a Transportation Services Coordinator with a strong customer service background to join their team at their Winnipeg location. This role is dispatch-focused and customer-oriented, supporting both client, customer, and internal service needs. The coordinator will collaborate closely with internal teams, including the warehouse, customer service, and dispatch, to ensure smooth daily operations. A commitment to service excellence is key to ensuring clients receive reliable, high-quality support and remain satisfied with the services provided. This role follows a Sunday to Thursday schedule, with an eight-hour workday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Experience learning new software systems.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze, problem solve, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Ability to work in a faced paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in transportation is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations is considered an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in a related education is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact to the Long-Haul Drivers throughout the evening shift.
  • Communicate information to Drivers via Text, phone call or face to face.
  • Ensuring that Drivers have the correct paperwork, and follow their driving schedule.
  • Assist in Long Haul Driver scheduling, payroll and dispatching.
  • Ensure that Long Haul Drivers have correct paperwork, and follow their driving schedule.
  • Monitor and follow up with Customs Brokers to ensure documents are completed, filed, and accepted (i.e. electronic manifests, ACE, ACI, PARS).
  • Complete reports and analysis via trucking software.
  • Initiate, create, and update data into logistics software.
  • Monitor truck shipments and communicate with our clients regarding the status.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively and professionally.
  • Assist with tasks in Operations and Logistics department as needed.
