About The Position

The Transportation Services Assistant transports residents to appointments, activities, and events in a timely and safe manner and in accordance with state laws. The position advances the value that the resident comes first, treats the Community as the residents’ home, helps create attributes of home, and models person-centered care. This position also serves as backup for the life enrichment coordinator who handles resident activities.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license according to state law.
• Maintain a superior accident-free record both while performing work duties and in personal driving.
• Certified Nursing Assistant license required.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent desired.
• Previous six months of experience in long-term care desired.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to appointments, activities, and events safely and on time, following state laws.
• Support a resident-first approach, create a home-like community, and model person-centered care.
• Back up the life enrichment coordinator in handling resident activities.

Benefits

• Starting pay of $16.00 per hour with a Premium Pay plan.
