About The Position

Aviation Security Management, LLC (ASM) is hiring Transportation Security Officers to help protect air travelers, airports, and aircraft. ASM operates under contract to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) at privatized airports nationwide as part of the TSA Screening Partnership Program. Officers screen passengers, baggage, and cargo to identify and prevent dangerous objects from being transported onto aircraft. Starting pay is $19.50 per hour, increasing to $23.75 per hour after one year. ASM guarantees a minimum of 40 hours per week for full-time employees and 30 hours per week for part-time employees, year-round. ASM provides training and covers its costs. The position includes paid time off and a comprehensive benefits package. Applicants must be available to work any day of the week and any shift.

Requirements

Be a U.S. citizen or U.S. national.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Be proficient in English.
Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Pass a computerized assessment confirming English proficiency and potential ability to interpret X-rays.
Pass a medical evaluation, including vision, hearing, and joint-mobility tests.
Pass ASM and TSA background and financial-records checks.
Pass pre-employment and random post-employment drug tests.
Be available to work any day of the week (Monday through Sunday) and any shift (12:00 a.m. through 11:59 p.m.).

Nice To Haves

At least one year of full-time work experience in the security or intelligence industry or as an X-ray technician.
