About The Position

Aviation Security Management, LLC (ASM) is hiring Transportation Security Officers to help secure air travel at privatized airports nationwide under contract to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). As part of the TSA Screening Partnership Program, officers screen passengers, baggage, and cargo to identify and prevent dangerous objects from being transported onto aircraft. ASM provides all training and training costs. The starting pay rate is $19.50 per hour, increasing to $23.75 per hour after one year. ASM guarantees at least 40 hours per week for full-time employees and 30 hours per week for part-time employees, 52 weeks per year. The role requires availability any day of the week and on any shift.

Requirements

Be a U.S. citizen or U.S. national.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Be proficient in English.
Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Pass a computerized assessment confirming English proficiency and potential ability to interpret X-rays.
Pass a medical evaluation that includes vision, hearing, and joint mobility tests.
Pass ASM and TSA background and financial records checks.
Pass pre-employment and random post-employment drug tests.
Be available to work any day of the week, Monday through Sunday, and any shift from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of full-time work experience in the security or intelligence industry or as an X-ray technician.
