About The Position

Aguirre & Fields is seeking a seasoned Project Manager for their Fort Worth, TX office to lead design projects from scoping through delivery. This role involves guiding multidisciplinary teams, managing budgets and schedules, strengthening client partnerships, and delivering engineering solutions that make a visible difference in the communities served. The position offers an opportunity for an experienced civil engineering leader to manage high-impact projects, mentor staff, and be a trusted client partner. Responsibilities include managing project scope, fee, schedule, quality control, workload planning, progress reporting, invoicing, and pursuit support, while ensuring teams remain aligned, proactive, and focused on successful outcomes. The Project Manager will lead design projects to completion on schedule, within budget, and with strong client and team satisfaction, partnering with project engineers and technical staff to plan work and maintain momentum. They will also serve as a project manager, task lead, or technical resource on pursuits and RFP responses, champion quality by ensuring project deliverables follow company QC practices, and contribute to innovation, professional development, and community-focused business development efforts.

Requirements

  • Proven professional engineer with judgment, communication skills, and follow-through to lead complex work and inspire others
  • Technical credibility, project ownership, and a collaborative leadership style grounded in integrity, accountability, and service
  • Relevant civil engineering design experience
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent, from an ABET/EAC accredited program
  • Active Professional Engineer registration required
  • Strong ability to manage budgets, schedules, scopes, priorities, and client expectations
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to align clients, teams, and stakeholders
  • Experience with relevant engineering technology and software
  • A leadership approach that is dependable, respectful, proactive, and committed to helping others shine
