Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- California Professional Engineer (PE) License.
- 10+ years of experience in transportation engineering design.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and Microstation/Open Roads.
- Ability to work efficiently to meet project budgets and schedules.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, sub consultants, agency review staff, and utilities.
- Ability to compose concise technical reports, memorandums, and other written communication.
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of Transportation Projects for a variety of public and private sector clients.
- Involve planning and design, state highway work, interchanges, roadway design, drainage systems, storm water management, utility relocations and preparation of contract documents.
- Be flexible, technologically savvy, and client focused.
- Work on diverse projects requiring familiarity with state and local design standards.
- Utilize Civil 3D and/or AutoCAD.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite.
- Manage clients and projects.
- Meet project budgets and schedules.
- Communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, sub consultants, agency review staff, and utilities.
- Compose concise technical reports, memorandums, and other written communication.
- Handle multiple concurrent projects.
