About The Position

Apex Companies is seeking a Transportation Project Engineer to prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents; coordinate permitting compliance with clients and regulatory agencies; and support clients during bidding, contracting, and construction. The role also develops and manages project scopes, schedules, and budgets, and provides technical guidance and quality control. The position is with Forsgren Associates, a newly acquired Apex Company.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Idaho, or ability to obtain it within six months.
• At least 3 years of civil engineering experience.
• Experience designing transportation facilities for state transportation departments and local jurisdictions.
• Experience with ITD procedures and requirements.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation OpenRoads, and Geopak design software.

• Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

• Support clients with services during bidding, contracting, and construction.
