About The Position

Apex Companies, through Forsgren Associates, is seeking a transportation engineering professional to prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents; coordinate permitting compliance with clients and regulatory agencies; and support clients during bidding, contracting, and construction. The role develops and manages project scopes, schedules, and budgets, prepares project budgets and schedules, and provides technical guidance and quality control. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to transportation projects and work alongside environmental professionals within a national firm.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Montana, or ability to obtain it within 6 months.
• At least 4 years of civil engineering experience.
• Experience designing transportation facilities for state transportation departments and local jurisdictions.
• Experience with Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) procedures and requirements.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation OpenRoads, and Geopak design software.
