The Transportation Program Manager 1 oversees the development and execution of a division or district-wide program(s) and/or project(s). The position may manage teams and will be responsible for ensuring that every aspect of the project is completed on time and within budget. Assigns milestones, develops reporting processes, and ensures that every team has what they need to fulfill the objectives of the program or project. Acts as a liaison between the individuals working on the program and key stakeholders. This classification is distinguished by the lower level of complexity and smaller scope of the program/project, usually at a division or district level rather than statewide. Preference will be given to applicants with knowledge of State/Federal funding programs. This position includes: playing a role in system data integrity processes; experience in data analysis and reporting; testing new software upgrades and enhancements, and knowledge of Federal Statewide Transportation Improvement Program.
