About The Position
Passero Associates’ Rochester Office is offering a paid Transportation Engineering Co-op/Intern opportunity involving a diverse range of transportation and traffic engineering and planning projects. The role uses industry technology, including traffic analysis software and 3D corridor design, and provides experience toward a professional career in Civil Engineering. Co-ops/interns collaborate with architects, engineers, surveyors, and application developers on residential, commercial, municipal, and institutional projects.
Requirements
- Pursuing a BS degree in Civil Engineering or a civil-related field.
- Immediate availability and/or availability through 2027.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferred.
- Prior civil engineering co-op/intern experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze field data.
- Write technical reports.
- Perform 3D corridor modeling.
- Prepare contract documents.
