About The Position
Passero Associates is offering a paid Civil Engineering Co-op/Intern opportunity in its Rochester, New York office. The role provides experience on a diverse range of civil and site development projects, using industry technologies such as interior and exterior drones, 3D visualization, and virtual reality. The intern will collaborate with architects, engineers, surveyors, and application developers on residential, commercial, municipal, and institutional projects, gaining experience toward a professional career in civil engineering.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a civil-related field.
- Immediate availability and/or availability through 2027.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D; Civil 3D is preferred.
- Prior civil engineering co-op or internship experience.
Responsibilities
- Design site development for commercial, residential, industrial, and energy projects.
- Prepare engineering, traffic, and SWPPP reports and calculations.
- Conduct field inspections and prepare reports.
