About The Position
Passero Associates’ Rochester, New York office is hiring a paid Structural Engineering Co-op/Intern to contribute to a diverse range of structural engineering projects. The position provides an opportunity to gain professional experience and apply current technology to client challenges. Typical projects involve structural design and analysis for commercial, municipal, institutional, and multifamily residential buildings. Passero Associates is a multidisciplinary professional architecture, engineering, and construction firm founded in 1972. It has more than 180 professionals across nine offices and provides services throughout the northeastern, southeastern, and midwestern United States. The firm emphasizes service, solutions, and results and is committed to leveraging a diverse workforce. Passero Associates is unable to sponsor visas.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a BS degree in Civil Engineering; a structural emphasis is preferred.
- Immediate availability and/or availability through 2027.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of Revit.
- Prior structural and/or civil engineering co-op or internship experience.
Responsibilities
- Produce structural construction drawings, specifications, and reports using CAD/BIM technology.
- Support construction administration, including project site visits and shop drawing reviews.
- Maintain high standards of professional and ethical conduct.
