Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related
• 12 months experience in the job offered
• Verifiable references
• Knowledge or experience in preparing transportation design plans, specifications, and cost estimates involving temporary traffic control, traffic signals, signing, pavement markings, lighting systems, utilities, and roadway geometry
• Knowledge or experience in utilizing MicroStation software to develop detailed design deliverables in compliance with client and regulatory standards
• Knowledge or experience in troubleshooting and resolving design issues during planning and engineering phases

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with other engineers, clients, business stakeholders to identify and develop technical solutions and designs
• Produce transportation design plans, specifications, and estimate packages
• Perform traffic engineering studies, analysis and modeling
• Utilize traffic simulation software to assess the impact of roadway designs and improvements
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within assigned transportation projects
• Work with public agencies and private clients to develop and implement project plans
• Implement recommendations for improving engineering process standards and documentation
