As a Transportation Engineer or Planner with 2-4 years of experience, you are building on a strong technical foundation and beginning to take on greater ownership in your work. This role represents an important step in your careerâwhere you move from primarily executing tasks to helping shape project approaches, leading efforts, and mentoring others. Youâll work on a wide range of planning and engineering projects, developing both your technical expertise and your ability to manage projects, support clients, and contribute to the success of your team. Project Experience May Include: Transportation impact studies (e.g. CEQA and non-CEQA studies) Bicycle and pedestrian planning Access, circulation, and parking studies Multimodal operations assessments Complete streets planning, operations, and design Transit forecasting and operations Travel behavior forecasting Vehicle miles of travel (VMT) assessments Systemic safety studies Corridor and interchange studies Climate action plans Freight planning and TDM strategies Conceptual through final design (e.g., bikeways, signals, signing and striping, roundabouts, lighting, temporary traffic control)
