About The Position
We are seeking a Transportation Driver to transport individuals, including the elderly and people with developmental disabilities, to and from designated locations. The role requires a compassionate person with excellent communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility who can provide safe transportation services.
Requirements
- Valid Texas Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
- Texas Driver's License with a responsible driving record.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and the elderly.
- Knowledge of patient care and caregiving practices.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medical office procedures.
- Understanding of critical care situations.
- Proficiency in handling Durable Medical Equipment (DME).
- CPR Certified.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers to and from various destinations.
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle.
- Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and fueled.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of trips and passenger details.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
