About The Position

The Transportation Aide transports residents to appointments and community events and also works on the floor. The role includes confirming residents’ doctors’ appointments, notifying families about appointment arrangements, monitoring daily documentation and filing, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current, active CPR certification.
• Valid state driver’s license with no more than three entries, counting accidents, moving violations, and failures to appear.
• Customer-service orientation and ability to work well under pressure.
• Must have a valid CNA license.

Nice To Haves

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred; alternatively, willingness to complete a state-approved CNA program and become a Nursing Assistant (CNA) within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to appointments, community events, and other destinations as needed.
• Confirm residents’ doctors’ appointments.
• Notify families of arrangements regarding appointments.
• Monitor daily documentation and filing.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
