Requirements

Experience in transportation or care-related fields is preferred
Strong time management, reliability, and customer service skills
Comfortable working a split shift schedule
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist individuals with varying mobility levels
Must be at least 21 years old
Valid Florida Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
At least 21 years old and able to pass a DOT physical
Drug-Free Workplace
Level II background screening required
Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse participation required

Responsibilities

Safely transport adults with developmental disabilities to and from programs and activities
Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle when needed
Maintain a safe, clean, and professional vehicle environment
Communicate with dispatch regarding schedule or passenger changes
Provide a friendly, patient, and dependable experience for riders
