The Transportation Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the To The Rescue Transportation Division. This role involves leading the division to meet business goals, maintaining the entire fleet of vehicles, promoting safety, and ensuring operational excellence. The position requires collaboration with key internal stakeholders to support organizational growth and development, and alignment of policies, procedures, and processes with the Executive Director. Responsibilities also include staff training and development, hiring, counseling, performance reviews, and ensuring drivers are properly trained. The director will provide guidance for the fleet, ensuring regular maintenance and necessary repairs, and oversee the safety program for all organization vehicles. This role acts as a risk management liaison, spearheads employee retention and acquisition, and supports employee development. Additionally, the director will develop relationships with external partners to support the mission of To The Rescue, ensure compliance with regulatory and billing standards, and create Key Action Plans to meet business objectives.
