About The Position

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT) is seeking Transportation Construction Inspection professionals to join their Central PA Team. JMT is a dynamic, 100% employee-owned consulting firm with over 2,400 professionals providing a wide range of engineering, architecture, information technology, and related services. The primary clients for this role are the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, and other Local Government agencies in the Central PA Region. The successful candidate will apply standard inspection procedures to ongoing activities during and after construction, ensuring structural quality, general safety, and conformance to plans, specifications, and codes. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification.

Requirements

• Experience with standard inspection procedures.
• Ability to review and interpret plans, site layouts, specifications, and construction methods.
• Proficiency in performing routine tests on concrete, soils, and other materials.
• Skill in measuring dimensions and verifying level, alignment, and elevation of structures, fixtures, grades, and/or pavement.
• Ability to gather and maintain record documents.
• Capability to make field notes and computations.

Responsibilities
