The Allentown-based Construction Management Team is looking for Transportation Construction Inspection professionals to join their team for projects within PennDOT's District 3-0 region (Union County). The role involves applying standard inspection procedures to ongoing construction activities, ensuring structural quality, general safety, and conformance to plans, specifications, and codes. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification.

Requirements

  • Experience in transportation construction inspection.
  • Ability to review and interpret plans, site layouts, specifications, and construction methods.
  • Knowledge of legal requirements and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in performing routine tests on concrete, soils, and other materials.
  • Skill in measuring dimensions and verifying level, alignment, and elevation of structures, fixtures, grades, and/or pavement.
  • Ability to gather and maintain record documents.
  • Capability to make field notes and computations.
  • Eligibility for TN visa classification (immigration sponsorship not otherwise available).

Responsibilities
