About The Position

Givens Logistics is the brokerage division of Givens, an asset-based 3PL that includes both a warehousing company and a trucking company with both OTR and drayage operations. This integrated structure allows us to offer customers dependable in-house capacity combined with flexible brokerage solutions, making us a trusted partner for full-scale transportation and logistics needs. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative to expand our customer base and promote the full capabilities of the Givens network. The Outside Sales Representative will focus on developing new truck brokerage business while leveraging Givens’ OTR fleet, drayage services, and warehousing assets. This role is ideal for a self-motivated logistics professional who excels in building relationships, meeting face-to-face with customers, and creating customized transportation solutions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of outside sales experience in freight brokerage, trucking, logistics, or related fields (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of truckload, drayage, warehousing, and general logistics operations.
  • Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
  • Ability to travel within the territory as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, identify, and secure new shipper accounts within an assigned territory.
  • Conduct on-site customer visits and present tailored logistics solutions.
  • Promote a complete range of services, including brokerage, OTR trucking, drayage, and warehousing.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline through strategic outreach and CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with internal sales & operations teams to develop pricing, bids, and service proposals.
  • Provide ongoing account management to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and retention.
