About The Position

Wolverine Fuels is looking for a reliable and trustworthy individual to take ownership of employee transportation between Salina and the SUFCO Mine. This role involves driving a company bus multiple trips per day, including early mornings, evenings, late nights, and weekends, on mountain roads and in winter conditions. In addition to driving, the position includes responsibilities for maintaining the bus and vehicle fleet, such as cleaning, fueling, and inspections. The role also involves coordinating schedules for a fleet of over 30 company vans, with training provided for the right candidate. This position is for someone who takes pride in their work, understands the importance of reliability, and is looking for a long-term, valued role.

Requirements

CDL with Passenger (Bus) Endorsement
Strong driving skills
Safety-first mindset
Excellent attendance and punctuality
Willingness to help with washing and fueling vehicles
Willingness to help with airing tires and completing inspections
Willingness to help keep things organized and communicate issues early
Ability to help coordinate schedules for a fleet of 30+ company vans
An outgoing, respectful personality

Nice To Haves

Experience driving mountain roads and in winter conditions
Training for coordinating fleet schedules will be provided to the right person

Responsibilities

Drive a company bus multiple trips per day between Salina and the SUFCO Mine.
Operate the bus on mountain roads and in various weather conditions, including winter.

Perform vehicle inspections to ensure readiness.
