Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or vocational school training.
• Hands-on-experience necessary.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Valid Florida Driver's License
• HIV Course
• CDL P/S
• A Confidentiality Agreement is required and must be signed upon commencement of service.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently required to stand; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• Occasionally required to sit.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance or 75 pounds unassisted.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing the daily maintenance operations of all facilities.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules.
• Assign and monitor work orders.
• Perform facility inspections.
• Conduct routine safety inspections.
• Coordinate outside contractors and vendors.
• Monitor HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
• Assist with emergency repairs.
• Maintain maintenance logs and inspection records.
• Track maintenance expenses and purchase orders.
• Assist with annual budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with AHCA, OSHA, Life Safety Code, and local regulations.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Assist in preparing for state inspections and surveys.
• Assist with daily transportation scheduling and driving.
• Coordinate driver assignments.
• Monitor vehicle availability.
• Review vehicle inspection reports.
• Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are current.
• Track vehicle registrations, insurance, and licensing.
• Assist with accident investigations.
• Monitor GPS and fleet management systems.
• Assist with transportation documentation and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, FDOT, ADA, and organizational policies.
