About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Transportation Analyst (Level 3) to join our Global Warehousing & Logistics (GWL) Transportation team in Des Moines, WA. This role promotes a safe work environment, plans and executes domestic and export shipments in compliance with ITAR and EAR regulations, and engages collaboratively with the team to achieve business goals. The analyst will foster continuous improvement, identify work statement changes, support the development of Statements of Work, and propose process improvements. They will also support transportation projects, investigate and perform root cause analysis on logistics initiatives, and develop relationships with service providers and stakeholders. The role involves driving organizational integration and change management, navigating complex situations, and partnering with leaders to develop logistics strategy.

Requirements

More than 3 years of experience in Domestic and International Supply Chain Logistics
More than 3 years of experience working with import and export licenses and regulations for maintaining compliance with transportation regulations for international and domestic shipments
More than 3 years of experience with enterprise shipping systems
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

Investigates and performs root cause analysis on complex logistics initiatives and recommends business solutions relating to transportation and logistics practices, processes and procedures.
Develops and cultivates relationships with service providers, suppliers, stakeholders, peers and business partners for collaborative solutions.
Demonstrates strength in taking complex business challenges and creating and executing streamlined solutions.
Drives and manages organizational integration and change management with positive results.
Navigates through complex situations and drives to efficient, effective and timely solutions.
