About The Position

Sunrise Manor, a 137-bed facility operated by Signature HealthCARE, provides skilled, semi-skilled, rehabilitation, Alzheimer’s care, therapy, and other specialty care services. The Transportation Aide transports residents to appointments and community events, coordinates appointment arrangements, and also works on the floor as needed. The role is listed as Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with eight-hour days. Benefits are offered after 30 days. The stated pay range is up to $21.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred, or willingness to complete a state-approved CNA program and become a CNA within six months of hire.
• Current, active CPR certification.
• Valid state driver’s license with no more than three entries, counting accidents, moving violations, and failures to appear.
• Customer-service orientation and ability to work well under pressure.

• Experience in medical transport.
• Current CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to appointments, community events, and other destinations as needed.
• Confirm residents’ doctors’ appointments.
• Notify families about appointment arrangements.
• Monitor daily documentation and filing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Work on the floor in addition to transporting residents.
