About The Position

Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking a dependable Transportation Aide – CNA to safely transport residents to and from appointments and activities while providing attentive care. The role requires professionalism, strong patient-care skills, and safe driving practices. The aide monitors residents’ safety and comfort during transportation, observes and reports changes in their condition, assists with mobility, and records vital signs when needed. When not transporting residents, the aide supports CNA duties in the facility.

Requirements

• Hold a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
• Be at least 25 years old for insurance requirements.
• Have a current Nursing Assistant Certification in Texas.
• Pass the DMV check and qualify for company insurance.
• Complete the Employee Driver Proficiency program.
• Demonstrate strong communication, patience, and attention to detail.
• Be comfortable with caregiving and safe vehicle operation.

Responsibilities

• Drive residents to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and scheduled activities.
• Monitor residents’ safety and comfort throughout transport.
• Observe residents for changes in condition during transport and promptly report concerns.
• Help residents ambulate and transfer using assistive devices and proper technique.
• Record vital signs when needed during transport.
• Assist with CNA duties in the facility when not transporting residents.
