Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Three to five years of transportation, logistics, dispatch, or related operations experience.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of transportation operations and DOT regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation-related software systems.
Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
Previous supervisory experience.
Experience in fuel, petroleum, or bulk transportation operations.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Drivers and Dispatchers.
Oversee daily fuel transportation and delivery operations.
Optimize routes, schedules, and equipment utilization.
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training efforts.
Resolve transportation and customer service issues.
Visit driver locations and maintain strong relationships with transportation employees.
Participate in the transport on-call rotation and provide backup dispatch support as needed.
Partner with leadership to drive safe, efficient, and profitable operations.
