About The Position

We're excited to share an opportunity in the Transport Division. Tiger Fuel is seeking a Logistics Dispatcher for the bulk fuel side of our Family. Our Transport Team supports the deliveries of fuel products to 200 dealer locations in the Mid-Atlantic. This position is responsible for coordinating, scheduling and dispatching deliveries of fuel products to our complex network. This individual must ensure a high level of "Tiger Way" customer satisfaction, efficiency, and safety standards. While this opportunity will be primarily Tuesday-Saturday , there is a possibility of adjusted work days to include other days of the week.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years in transportation or a related logistic field.
  • Weekend and holiday work required; open availability- shifts on a rotating schedule throughout the week
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Complex problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Patient, professional, and adaptable to a wide range of people and backgrounds.
  • Passionate about quality work and providing best-in-class "Tiger Way" customer service support.
  • Confident in basic computer skills with ability to function in a Windows-based environment.
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Criminal background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

  • Dispatch Transport Drivers for fuel tanker load deliveries.
  • Coordinate, schedule and communicate information to Transport Drivers and staff as well as track relevant information according to customer demands.
  • Notify drivers of assignments and direct their activities to ensure loads are delivered according to time-sensitive schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and established Tiger Fuel policies and guidelines.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and/or inquiries, maintain and provide positive and effective service to both internal and external customers.
  • Review and assimilate stored data and enter new data in computer database.
  • Keep proper record of all jobs in work log according to established guidelines.
  • Understand and communicate safety policies as they relate to our customers and employees.
  • Responsible for any other task and duty as assigned, which may or may not relate to the normal scope of this position.
