TRANSPORT DRIVER (FULL AND PART TIME)
About The Position
This job opening is for full and part-time Transport Driver positions at Bruce's Catering in Panorama City, CA. The role involves working as a member of the transportation team, utilizing a company-owned vehicle to deliver products or render services along an established route. Key responsibilities include responding to transport requests with urgency, meeting delivery goals, following department protocols using a dispatch system, and providing excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups. The driver is also responsible for completing necessary logs and reports, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and addressing or reporting vehicle, building, security, or safety issues to management. The position requires open availability, as days and hours may vary. This role is part of Restaurant Associates, a leading provider of dining and event catering.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Effective verbal and listening communication skills service/Quality focused to meet a wide range of needs
- Valid driver's license, ensuring safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions
Responsibilities
- Responds to transport requests with a sense of urgency, meeting time delivery goals
- Follows department protocols using dispatch system appropriately
- Provides outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Completes necessary logs and reports
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment
- Resolves or reports vehicle, building, security, or safety issues to management
- Performs other duties as assigned
