Auction Transport Driver (Part-Time)
About The Position
Go Auto Lancaster is currently hiring a reliable and flexible Part-Time Auction Transport Driver to join our team in Lancaster, PA. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road and working with vehicles. As an Auction Transport Driver, you’ll assist with transporting vehicles between auto auctions and our dealership locations, helping keep our inventory moving efficiently. We are preferably looking for someone located in or near the Lancaster area for convenience and quick response times. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Occasional Saturdays as needed On-call position – hours will vary based on dealership needs
Requirements
- Valid, up-to-date driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Flexible availability and ability to work on-call
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable driving a variety of vehicles
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
- Professional and courteous demeanor
Responsibilities
- Safely transport vehicles to and from auto auctions
- Drive vehicles between dealership locations as needed
- Ensure vehicles are handled with care during transport
- Follow all traffic laws and dealership safety guidelines
- Communicate with team members regarding pickup and delivery timing
- Perform basic vehicle checks before and after transport
