About The Position

Working as a member of the transportation team, the Transport Driver uses a company-owned vehicle to deliver products or render services over an established route. The position is based at Aurora, 1600 Smallman Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Previous food service and driving experience is required.

Requirements

Previous food service and driving experience.
Effective verbal and listening communication skills.
A service- and quality-focused approach to meeting a wide range of needs.
A valid driver's license and the ability to safely operate company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Respond to transport requests with a sense of urgency and meet delivery time goals.
Follow department protocols and use the dispatch system appropriately.
Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
Complete necessary logs and reports.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Resolve or report vehicle, building, security, or safety issues to management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
