LifeLink Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives through organ and tissue donation. The Transplant Coordinator I (TC I) plays a vital role in supporting LifeLink's mission by coordinating all clinical aspects of the organ donation and recovery process. This includes evaluating potential organ donor referrals, providing medical management of donors, allocating donated organs, overseeing the logistics of organ recovery, and providing support and follow-up for families and LifeLink partners. The TC I is a trained clinical professional responsible for optimizing the number of organ donors and maximizing organ quality. This role also includes obtaining authorization for organ and tissue donation and participating in hospital development and professional education efforts.
