About The Position

HDR is seeking a Transmission Line Intern to join its Power Delivery team. The role provides real-world experience on projects supporting the generation, transmission, and delivery of electricity. The intern applies standard engineering techniques and procedures while working under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager, and participates in project reviews as needed. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Commitment to being an active participant in HDR’s employee-owned culture.

Nice To Haves

• Preferably have completed two years toward a degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to the field of study or industry.
• Local candidates are preferred.
