About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient transmission of content across various platforms. The Transmission Coordinator will manage the scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting of all transmission activities, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail to maintain operational excellence in a fast-paced media environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in media transmission or a related field.
Strong understanding of broadcast technologies and transmission protocols.
Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting broadcast equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in relevant broadcast software and systems.

Nice To Haves

Experience with satellite and IP-based transmission.
Knowledge of media asset management systems.
Familiarity with live broadcast operations.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate the daily transmission schedule for all content.
Monitor transmission streams to ensure signal integrity and quality.
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during transmission.
Liaise with internal teams (e.g., production, engineering) and external partners to coordinate transmission requirements.
Maintain accurate logs and documentation of all transmission activities.
Ensure compliance with all broadcast standards and regulations.
Assist in the setup and testing of new transmission equipment and workflows.
