About The Position

Railcar Loaders / Transload Operators safely load and unload railcars while ensuring compliance with operational, environmental, and safety standards. The role includes operating transloading equipment, handling hazardous and non-hazardous materials, performing inspections, completing documentation, and supporting rail operations as needed. Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions and may involve physically demanding tasks, including climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working at heights. The schedule is 7 AM to 4 PM with rotating weekends.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working at heights.
• Must meet customer and regulatory safety requirements, including background screening.

Nice To Haves

• CDL.
• Transloading experience.
• Experience with skid-steers.
• Industrial or hazardous materials experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload railcars and transfer products.
• Operate transloading equipment, pumps, compressors, conveyors, and mobile equipment.
• Perform inspections, troubleshoot equipment, and complete minor repairs.
• Complete operational logs and safety documentation.
• Follow company, customer, and regulatory safety procedures.
• Promptly report safety concerns and equipment issues.
• Support switching crews and other site operations as required.
