About The Position

TPI Composites is seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Interpreter/Translator (English/Spanish) to support communication across its manufacturing operations. This role connects employees, leaders, and departments by ensuring clear, accurate, and effective communication in both languages. The position supports employee engagement, training initiatives, safety communication, and Human Resources activities throughout the facility. The successful candidate is fluent in English and Spanish, builds strong relationships, and helps people understand information, processes, training materials, and company communications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in interpretation, translation, training, human resources, customer service, or employee relations.
• Experience supporting a manufacturing or industrial workforce.
• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent listening and comprehension abilities.
• Ability to think quickly and accurately during live interpretation.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Commitment to providing exceptional support to employees and leadership.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout a manufacturing facility as needed.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 10 pounds.
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or higher in Translation, Communications, Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate verbal interpretation between English and Spanish in meetings, training sessions, orientations, employee discussions, and company presentations.
• Translate written documents, communications, policies, procedures, and training materials between English and Spanish while preserving their meaning, tone, and intent.
• Provide real-time interpretation for bilingual employees during New Hire Orientation programs.
• Facilitate communication during plant meetings, roundtables, benefits presentations, safety discussions, and other employee events.
• Communicate sensitive and confidential information professionally and discreetly.
• Partner with Human Resources, Training, and Operations teams on workforce communication and engagement initiatives.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to training, employee communication, and Human Resources functions.
• Maintain accuracy, consistency, and cultural awareness in translation and interpretation activities.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
