About The Position

Oak Grove, part of Greencroft Communities, is hiring caring and dependable Transitional Healthcare Workers to gain experience working with older adults while pursuing CNA certification. No prior healthcare experience is required. The employer pays for CNA classes, and employees receive a pay increase after earning CNA certification. Team members must enroll in CNA classes within 60 days of hire and complete the certification process within the required timeframe; testing and retesting requirements apply. Starting pay is $13.88–$17.73 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

A caring attitude and desire to help older adults.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to completing CNA training and earning certification.

Nice To Haves

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
Previous experience working with older adults is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Spend time with residents through conversation, companionship, and activities.
Escort residents to meals, appointments, therapy, and activities.
Help with dining services, serve meals, and provide refreshments.
Assist with light housekeeping, make beds, and keep resident areas clean and safe.
Support residents' comfort, dignity, and daily needs.
Work alongside experienced team members while learning about resident care.
Enroll in CNA classes within 60 days of hire and complete the certification process within the required timeframe.
