About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Transition Scheduler/Facilities TPM to join our team in the greater DMV area, supporting the Army National Guard. This role involves developing, maintaining, and integrating transition schedules, performing schedule risk analysis, and coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth transition sequencing and cutover activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
  • Clearance: TS/SCI (active)
  • Master’s degree in Project Management, Systems Engineering, or related field; OR PMP and/or PMI‑SP at expert level.
  • Scheduling/program controls experience supporting large transitions or DoD programs, including development/maintenance of IMS and schedule risk analysis.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project Server (or government‑approved scheduling tools) and schedule risk analysis tools.
  • Skills: WBS development, resource‑loading, critical path analysis, schedule integration, EAC impacts, stakeholder coordination, and briefing senior leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior DoD/Army/ARNG transition or facilities TPM experience
  • Familiarity with RMF/ATO, procurement lead times, logistics constraints, and facility cutover activities
  • Experience reconciling schedule with EVM or cost data feeds

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and integrate transition schedules (WBS‑aligned) from task‑level inputs into the IMS; enforce baseline integrity and version control.
  • Collect schedule inputs from functional leads; sequence activities, define dependencies, and validate milestones/constraints with stakeholders.
  • Perform rolling‑wave planning and critical‑path/float analysis to identify impacts, conflicts, and schedule risk.
  • Monitor schedule performance versus baseline; identify variances and coordinate recovery actions, resequencing, or resource tradeoffs.
  • Conduct schedule risk assessments and scenario analyses; produce mitigation plans and POA&Ms.
  • Maintain schedule artifacts, change control records, and repository for auditability and transition documentation.
  • Produce schedule metrics, EAC impacts, dashboards, and briefing materials for transition/program leadership and governance boards.
  • Coordinate with facilities, logistics, engineering, security, and operations to align transition sequencing and cutover activities.
  • Support project closeout by validating milestone completion and archiving final schedule artifacts.
