About The Position

Transition Managers are responsible for managing significant transition programs, including transferring services and staff from one delivery model to another or from one service provider to another (internal or external). They ensure that service levels are maintained throughout the transition and are responsible for the budget, project plans, and reporting to the customer and internal management. The Transition Lead role involves shadowing and supporting a senior resource, moving to stream lead for individual streams across consecutive Transition projects, and eventually leading a stream in a medium Transition project or managing a small project with less than 10 FTEs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage significant transition programs inclusive of transferring services and staff from one delivery model to another or from one service provider to another (internal or external).
  • Ensure that service levels are maintained throughout the transition.
  • Manage the budget for transition programs.
  • Develop and manage project plans for transitions.
  • Report on transition progress to the customer and internal management.
  • Shadow and support a senior resource.
  • Act as a stream lead for individual streams in different areas across several consecutive Transition projects.
  • Lead a stream in a medium Transition project.
  • Manage a small project less than 10 FTEs.
