Transition Managers are responsible for managing significant transition programs, including transferring services and staff from one delivery model to another or from one service provider to another (internal or external). They ensure that service levels are maintained throughout the transition and are responsible for the budget, project plans, and reporting to the customer and internal management. The Transition Lead role involves shadowing and supporting a senior resource, moving to stream lead for individual streams across consecutive Transition projects, and eventually leading a stream in a medium Transition project or managing a small project with less than 10 FTEs.
