About The Position

Empower AI is seeking a Transition Knowledge Transfer Manager to design and implement strategies for capturing, organizing, and sharing critical organizational knowledge across teams. The role helps make expertise accessible, promotes collaboration and continuous learning, and facilitates knowledge sharing between experienced staff, new hires, and employees changing roles. The manager develops and oversees knowledge management systems, monitors the effectiveness of knowledge transfer, and fosters a culture of knowledge exchange.

Requirements

• Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7–12 years of management experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Teams, Project, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

• Information Technology Information Library (ITIL) Foundation certification or higher.
• Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
• DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) IT Project Manager qualification (DCWF 802).
• GSEC or Security+ certification, or higher.
• Experience supporting Army Information Technology programs.

Responsibilities

• Identify key knowledge areas and subject matter experts, and create structured plans to transfer knowledge to designated recipients.
• Capture critical knowledge through process documentation, training materials, expert interviews, and knowledge management systems.
• Maintain and update a centralized knowledge base so information is accessible, organized, and accurate.
• Design and deliver training sessions that equip employees to transfer and use knowledge effectively.
• Encourage peer-to-peer knowledge sharing through mentorship programs and cross-functional collaboration initiatives.
• Track and analyze metrics to assess the impact of knowledge transfer initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
• Promote a culture in which employees share their expertise and learn from others.
• Evaluate and implement tools and platforms to improve knowledge capture, storage, and retrieval.
