About The Position

Join Dynapower, a Sensata Technologies company, as a Transformer Assembly Technician and help build the transformers that go into our high-power rectifiers, cast transformers, and oil-filled transformers. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on mechanical experience or a strong mechanical aptitude. You'll make $20 to $30 per hour, get a $2000 signing bonus, AND you'll be eligible for ALL benefits on your first day!

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent experience
Mechanical aptitude and experience
Gas brazing and soldering experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and parts list
Eligibility to obtain authorization under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Non-US Persons, as defined in the ITAR and EAR, may not be eligible to obtain authorization.

Responsibilities

Measure and adjust coil windings, spacing and blocking according to engineering specifications.
Assemble and finish transformer coils, incl. interphases, chokes, and core assemblies.
Complete interleaving and stacking of transformer core yokes.
Operate varnish dipping, vacuum, and bake oven equipment as part of the finishing process.
Put safety first, all day every day.
