About The Position

Northwest Respiratory Services is hiring a part-time Transfill Operator for its Great Falls branch. The position ensures that cylinders are filled with oxygen in accordance with Federal Drug Administration (FDA), Compressed Gas Association (CGA), and current good manufacturing practice (CGMP) guidelines. The role involves filling, testing, and maintaining gas cylinders and liquid oxygen bulk tanks, as well as maintaining equipment and work areas and supporting accurate cylinder tracking and documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma, general education degree, or one to three months of related experience.
• Ability to communicate well.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision and process orders accurately and promptly.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division across units of measure.
• Ability to document information accurately and neatly.
• Actively observe safety and security procedures and use equipment and materials properly.

Responsibilities

• Fill, test, and maintain gas cylinders and/or liquid oxygen bulk tanks according to FDA, CGA, and CGMP guidelines.
• Help track cylinder lot numbers for potential recall issues.
• Maintain transfill equipment in accordance with the manufacturer’s technical manuals.
• Clean and maintain transfill areas according to the company’s current manufacturing practices.
• Assist with reconciling and tracking cylinder labels used.
• Maintain working knowledge of the NRS Policy and Procedure Manual.
• Follow safety and security procedures and use equipment and materials properly.
