About The Position

Ergon Asphalt Partners is hiring a full-time Terminal Operator for its Garden City facility. The role performs a variety of operational functions within the terminal and works closely with Operator I employees to help develop their skills. The ideal candidate has good organizational, time-management, problem-solving, and housekeeping skills, and is willing to learn and contribute to the team. Requirements

• General computer skills and PC knowledge.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Stable work history.
• Good organizational, time-management, problem-solving, and housekeeping skills.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods on concrete floors and outdoor surfaces.
• Ability to work outside in varying weather, including cold, hot, and humid temperatures.
• Manual dexterity and ability to reach, bend, and move with agility.
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety requirements and procedures.
• Work independently and contribute as a team player.
• Perform Terminal Operator I functions proficiently.
• Transfer products between tanks.
• Operate a steam boiler.
• Align valves and operate pumps.
• Perform blending functions.
• Perform general maintenance and minor repairs on machinery and equipment.
• Perform quality-control testing using DSR and Brookfield equipment, where applicable.
• Perform other duties as required by the Terminal Manager.
• Work closely with Operator I employees to develop their skills.
