About The Position

The Transfer Driver will transport product between our Western Montana warehouse locations. The typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 2pm-10pm or 12am, with the possibility of 5-8 hour days or 4-10 hour days based on needs.

Requirements

• CDL A required
• Must be 21 years of age
• Clean driving record.
• Copies of your CDL and DMV record required prior to start
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal
• Good customer service skills
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Class A CDL is required.
• Ability to lift/carry/move 50 lbs. (maximum of 170 lbs.).
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative; Ability to handle wide range of tasks.
• Understand and effectively communicate Summit Beverage's organizational mission and goals.

Nice To Haves

• Beverage delivery experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspection of assigned vehicle and complete pre-trip/post-trip report; distribute as directed.
• Safely and efficiently deliver products to Western Montana warehouses using truck, forklift, pallet jack, ride on jack and/or hand truck.
• Collects or picks up empty containers.
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
• Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and company safety programs.
• Maintain and protect all property in excellent condition.
• Implement ways for the warehouse and company to improve efficiency, quality, and service.
• Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.
