About The Position

The Transfer Driver will transport product between our Western Montana warehouse locations. The typical schedule is Monday - Friday from 2pm to 10pm.

Requirements

CDL A required
Must be 21 years of age
Clean driving record.
Copies of your CDL and DMV record required prior to start
Excellent communication, both written and verbal
Good customer service skills
Good interpersonal communication skills
Class A CDL is required.
Ability to lift/carry/move 50 lbs. (maximum of 170 lbs.).
Good interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work on own initiative
Ability to handle wide range of tasks.

Nice To Haves

Beverage delivery experience preferred

Responsibilities

Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspection of assigned vehicle and complete pre-trip/post-trip report; distribute as directed.
Safely and efficiently deliver products to Western Montana warehouses using truck, forklift, pallet jack, ride on jack and/or hand truck.
Collect or pick up empty containers.
Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and company safety programs.
Maintain and protect all property in excellent condition.
Implement ways for the warehouse and company to improve efficiency, quality, and service.
Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.
Adhere to Company policies and procedures.
Adhere to all applicable Federal, state, and local regulations regarding the merchandising of alcoholic beverages.
Maintain a valid Montana Commercial driver’s license and keep a good driving record.
Does not abuse equipment and maintain company property such as Company vehicles.
Maintain appropriate dress and appearance per Company standards.
Display effective interpersonal communication (supplier, employee, customer).
Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in all areas of responsibility to ensure quality of work.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Show sound judgment, decision-making, and accountability.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors, other governmental agencies, and the public as appropriate.
