About The Position

Oversee the loading, unloading and transport of inventory among Cozzini’s many facilities according to the required schedule. This role requires maintaining and operating a vehicle in accordance with all government laws and regulations, ensuring the safe and efficient transfer of inventory to and from Cozzini distribution centers on a regularly scheduled basis. The driver will also communicate with receiving facilities in the event of schedule deviations, complete all necessary records and reports accurately and in a timely fashion, and oversee the mechanical well-being and cleanliness of Cozzini assigned vehicles. Maintaining Cozzini provided equipment in good working order and adhering to the policies outlined in Cozzini’s Employee Handbook and Fleet Safety Program are also key responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• A valid Class B driver’s license is required.
• Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience operating a 26 ft. box truck.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean record
• DOT experience/ knowledge
• Pass a pre-employment test
• Meet pre-employment and periodic MVR requirements as outlined in Cozzini's Fleet Safety Program.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. repetitively, reach, twist, turn, bend, climb, and pull.
