About The Position

The Transfer Agency Representative - Alternatives is an entry-level position working under direct supervision. The role assists more senior team members with processing investor transactions, including commitments, capital calls, distributions, transfers, and redemptions. The department is responsible for overall Alternatives Transfer Agency activity, with a focus on completing client deliverables accurately and on time and ensuring trading activity and reporting follow fund prospectuses and agreed operating procedures. The representative handles the least complex clients or tasks within the team and works under the supervision of the ALTS TA supervisor and/or team leader. The role also supports client service, internal team relationships, adherence to firm policies, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Associate degree or higher.
Fluency in English is mandatory.
Excellent communication skills.
Good organization skills with attention to detail.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Aptitude for numbers, accuracy, and organization.
Ability to work accurately and quickly under pressure.

Responsibilities

Support the team in establishing solid client contact through prompt follow-up.
Interact and establish solid relationships within the transfer agency team.
Accurately process investor transactions, including recording commitments, capital calls, distributions, transfers, and redemptions.
Deliver high-quality services and deliverables in a timely manner.
Comply with all firm policies and procedures.
Identify problems at an early stage and escalate them as necessary.
Assist team initiatives to close gaps and upgrade internal processes.
Prepare assigned deliverables accurately and on time.
