About The Position

As Canada’s largest physiotherapy company, Lifemark is passionate about enriching the health of Canadians through movement. We are seeking a Medical Transcriptionist who shares this same philosophy. Our Medical Transcriptionists work independently but are also part of a team environment transcribing reports for WCB, specialists, etc. Our Transcription Services Department staff all work remotely.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
• Computer/software knowledge
• Medical terminology and grammar
• Typing speed balanced with accuracy/speech recognition experience
• Required to be available during clinic hours anytime from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. MST

Nice To Haves

• Post secondary education in Medical Office Administration, Transcription or related field considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Transcribe audio files into prepared templates using DocShuttle typist software
• QA reports
• Fill out timesheets for payroll
• Help keep our workload turnaround times
• Execution of accurate reports in a timely fashion
