Transactions Specialist II - Exception Processing Team

As a Transaction Specialist II in the Exception Processing department, you will be responsible for processing stop payments, status accounts, CAN/RANN requests, end-of-day (EOD), etc. In this role, you will need to demonstrate an ownership approach to all tasks, initiative, and confidence to complete assignments with limited supervision, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to effectively multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. You will also work closely with our other sites located in Indiana and India to meet both internal and external service level agreements (SLAs).

Requirements

Utilize 10-key by touch comfortably
Basic working knowledge in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Adapt to environment as a team player and independent self-starter, contribute to ideas within the department
Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
Effective multi-tasking skills and prioritize workloads while working within tight service levels
Strong organizational and time management skills
Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy with completed work
Maintain high performance levels in stressful situations and high-volume environment
Lift up to 20lbs

Nice To Haves

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Be able to learn policies, procedures, and processes quickly
Savvy with Internet/Intranet usage

Responsibilities

Process involves reviewing of stop information to make a pay/return decision
Utilize comments for pay/return decisions
Process manual requests
Meet SLAs, productivity standards, and quality standards
Participate in projects and working groups as required and other duties as assigned
Exercise judgment, discretion, and prioritization
Understand and follow Bank policy and established procedures
